Preview: Tonbridge Angels

Just five matches remain of the regular season and two more Kent derbies, with the first of those a trip to Tonbridge Angels this Good Friday, ahead of a return to the Kuflink for the visit of Dover on Easter Monday.

Form guide
The Fleet head into this fixture off the back of a 2-1 win against Slough Town after coming from behind to secure the three points. Following games in the week elsewhere, the reds begin this Easter double header in seventh place, still inside those play-off places.

The Angels fell short in a 1-0 defeat at Chesham United on Saturday but recently went on a three-match winning run which saw them secure the goods against Bath City, Weston-super-Mare and Horsham. That has taken them to 14th place, well clear of a relegation that the bookies had them down for at the beginning of the season.

Last time out
The Angels visited the Kuflink Stadium on Boxing Day (above) and a cagey 90 minutes saw a narrow win in favour of the Fleet with Dominic Samuel’s goal in the 79th minute the difference in that Kent derby.

The Fleet have travelled to Tonbridge around this time of year on our two previous visits which have resulted in a 1-0 win and a 1-1 draw (below).
