Preview: Forest Green Rovers

Three days on from the visit of second-placed York City come third-placed Forest Green Rovers, making their first trip here in a decade.

Form guide
Forest Green suffered their first away defeat since August on Saturday which also brought an end to a 19-match unbeaten run. The Gloucestershire side were beaten at Braintree by the same scoreline that Fleet fell to York and that meant Rovers lost a little ground on the top two.

Previous affairs
The last time the two sides met was back in October with Forest Green securing the points thanks to a 3-1 win – Wes Fonguck scored an impressive long-range consolation for the Fleet on the night. This will be Forest Green’s first visit for 10 years when they lost an FA Trophy tie 1-0. Their last league visit to Stonebridge Road came in 2013 and they won that 2-0.

Forest Green’s last visit to the Fleet was this FA Trophy tie in 2015
