The first fixture of October sees the Fleet return to National League South action with Eastbourne Borough the latest visitors to the Kuflink Stadium.
Form guide
The Sports are still searching for their first league win of the season, having recorded four draws and five defeats so far. The form sees them sit at the foot of the table although they head into this fixture unbeaten in their last four outings across all competitions.
Head to head
Eastbourne spent 20 years and 21 games without a win against the Fleet but have won their last two visits here, in the league and FA Trophy in the last two months of 2022. One of the standout encounters between the clubs that same season saw the Fleet stage a dramatic comeback at Priory Lane, overturning a 2-1 deficit to secure a 3-2 win with 10 men. Dom Poleon, Chris Solly and Luke O’Neill were all on target, while Ben Chapman memorably finished the match between the posts.

Who’s who
Ryan Sandford is a goalkeeper on loan from Crawley Town until January. A Millwall Academy graduate, he previously gained experience in Kent with Maidstone, Dover and Dartford and has also been with AFC Wimbledon and Weymouth.
Pemi Aderoju is on loan from Peterborough United and has been ever-present for the Sports this season, already netting seven times, five of those in the FA Cup. He had experience with loan spells at Boston United and Farnborough last season.
Jesurun Uchebulam departed Oldham Athletic in the summer. The 24-year-old winger played a key role in their promotion last season, providing an assist in the Promotion Final at Wembley. Uchegbulam played for Mossley and Matlock before stepping up to Chesterfield, Rochdale and then Oldham, where he scored on his debut and impressed as an impact player.
