The 2023 North and South champions meet this Saturday at the Kuflink Stadium with visitors AFC Fylde looking to extend their narrow gap to the relegation zone.
Form guide
Fylde are currently safe by a single point in 20th place. Their last five fixtures have seen a mixed run of form – two wins, two draws and a defeat which came in a six-pointer against Braintree Town on home soil last time out. Like last season, Fylde have been in and around the bottom four for much of the season and need to put a few more results together to escape again.
Previous affairs
Last season’s clash between these two sides was one in which the Fleet come out on top by two goals to one as Ben Chapman secured his first brace in what was his side’s first ever win over the Coasters. In the rescheduled fixture on the Fylde coast back in December, the home side were victorious as Charlie Jolley and Jon Ustabasi were on the scoresheet in either half to secure a 2-0 victory. Ustabasi – like Toby Edser – is out this weekend after being red-carded last Saturday.

Who’s who
Nick Haughton is Fylde’s current top goalscorer with 16 goals, putting him amongst the top three scorers in the National League. The 30-year-old arrived at Mill Farm in 2018 from Salford City and has since played over 230 times for the Coasters with close to 100 goals for the club and 46 assists.
Experienced defender Harry Davis signed for the Coasters back in 2022. The 33-year-old, who is the son of former Crewe and Leyton Orient manager Steve Davis, has played for the likes of St Mirren, Crewe and recently Scunthorpe United before making the switch to Mill Farm.
Summer signing Charlie Jolley signed for Fylde from Tranmere Rovers after a three-year spell at Prenton Park. Breaking through the academy of Wigan Athletic, the 23-year-old moved up to Wigan’s first team in 2020 following his breakthrough from the U18s.
