Play-off matchday operations

The club would like to inform supporters intending to attend Sunday’s play-off semi-final that we are operating the game in accordance with National League and local authority rules safety advice and so a number of adjustments to our normal matchday operations are in practice.

Some of these arrangements have been relaxed in light of Chippenham’s win at Dartford but we would still request your co-operation with security and stewards on the day.

Fleet supporters will enter via the home turnstiles on Stonebridge Road as usual and will have use of three sides – the Main Stand, Old Stand and Plough End – plus a section of the Swanscombe End nearest to the Main Stand.

For HOME supporters wishing to use the Swanscombe End, they must enter via the home turnstiles and make their way along the Main Stand gangway, and then back out towards the steps at the rear of the Swanscombe End where a single-file flow will be in operation. (This has been necessitated by our desire to maintain part of that end for home supporters while still allowing for police insistence on segregation and separate entrance/exits for home and away supporters.)

Visiting supporters will be allocated the remainder of the Swanscombe End with a separation/ segregation barrier in between – which, as a result, has reduced the capacity of that end and the total capacity of the ground for Sunday’s game. Partial relaxtion of the hard segregation will allow for fans to flow between areas under steward supervision.

Home and away supporters in the Swanscombe End may be held back for 10-15 minutes upon the final whistle should local police snd safety officials deem it necessary for everyone’s safety. Vehicles parked in the car-park may also be held for 20-25 minutes at the end of the game to ensure a safe exit for pedestrians.

Our opponents will be selling their allocation of tickets to their own supporters so all tickets bought online to date and from the club reception this week through to Saturday are for HOME FANS ONLY.

Ticket checks will be carried out at the entrance and for safety reasons there will be additional vigilance and searches in operation for which we would kindly request your patience and co-operation. Any away fans attempting to enter home areas will be ejected from the premises so we strongly urge all supporters who do not possess a valid ticket that they do not travel to the stadium or attempt to enter the ground.
