Alex Osborn followed four of his teammates in committing to another season at Stonebridge Road as he today signed up for 2015/16.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder/striker will undertake his third season as a Fleet player having spent 2013/14 on loan from Dagenham & Redbridge, a move he made permanent last summer. Having racked up 52 appearances and nine goals in his first season, this campaign was a little more hit and miss as Alex struggled through injury, starting nine games and appearing in seven more from the bench.
He had been due to join Concord Rangers on loan in January but remained at the Fleet after an injury setback – and has now forced his way back into manager Jamie Day’s plans as the season has drawn to a close.
