The club’s principal sponsors Mitsubishi Electric will be back on board as the Fleet’s shirt sponsors through the 2015/16 season after agreeing a new deal with the club.
Everyone at the Fleet is delighted to extend the relationship with Steve Fleming and all those who have provided such valuable support at Mitsubishi Electric.
The partnership has so far been extremely beneficial for the club, with record numbers of shirt sales – helped in part by our sponsors own 275-shirt order to use as a giveaway in their business conference delegate packs, which in turn helped expose the club to an audience far and wide. We are presently sourcing a new kit supplier for next season and news of that will follow in due course.
The close relationship with Mitsubishi Electric will continue to broaden next season with other avenues of collaboration being pursued. To that end, club directors Peter Varney and Stuart Butler-Gallie, together with general manager Dave Archer, visited Mitsubishi Electric’s offices recently to view some of the exciting projects that we may have involvement with.
Vice chairman Peter Varrney said, “It is a significant deal for the club and I doubt it can be bettered anywhere in non-league football. I must thank Steve Fleming and Martin Fahey of Mitsubishi Electric in particular for their ongoing support.”
General manager Dave Archer commented, “It gives me enormous pleasure to announce tonight that Mitsubishi Electric has taken the decision to extend their sponsorship of the club for a further year. Everyone here is delighted by this decision and we look forward to exciting times ahead for both parties.”
