With four games to go – plus the small matter of the play-offs – Fleet defensive lynchpin Sido Jombati says much will depend on mentality to grind out wins as his side did at Concord.
“It wasn’t our day in the first 45 minutes but in the second-half we managed to get back on our feet,” Jombati told BBC Radio Kent’s Charles Webster. “It wasn’t easy to play our natural game and that’s why they pressed us, they knew if we played they could win the balls and create problems. The younger boys listen well to the older ones, they know their quality is there and they just have to work hard and be prepared mentally.”
