The Club announced this morning that Mark Humphreys has been appointed as Honorary Associate Director.
Mark is the co-owner of PHB Construction Ltd who are the Club’s principal home shirt sponsor. PHB was founded in 1949 by Mark’s grandfather and has grown from a small Kent-based family-run business to a major construction company with a multi-million pound turnover. Clients include housing associations, schools, medical practices and central and local government.
Vice Chairman Peter Varney said, “Mark has been of enormous support to the Club since the KEH takeover last summer. PHB immediately became the Club’s home shirt sponsor as well as taking extensive advertising around the stadium. Mark and PHB also oversaw the £250k refurbishment of the stadium and significant elements of work were not charged for by PHB.
“We are delighted to have Mark on board. His extensive construction and proven experience of contract management will be invaluable to the Club going forward as it embarks on a series of major capital projects including a new floodlighting system at Stonebridge Road. We are delighted he has accepted our offer and we all look forward to working with him”.
