On-loan Charlton defender Yado Mambo will remain at Stonebridge Road for a further month after manager Liam Daish confirmed he had extended the player’s loan.

The big central defender, who will celebrate his 20th birthday when the Fleet travel to Kettering in 11 days, has played seven times for the club during his loan period to date and alongside skipper Paul Lorraine has blossomed. With Calum Willock he was a contender for man of the match in tonight’s 2-2 draw with Luton and he showed his commitment at the final whistle with a suitable celebration!
