Local pupils to benefit from Schools Community Day

The Fleet are pleased to announce that we are partnering with local schools to allow pupils from 13 primaries around Gravesham to attend our match against Solihull Moors for free.

This project is the culmination of many weeks’ planning following the hugely generous donation by long-standing and loyal fan Kenny Brooker (pictured below) to the EUFC Schools programme as part of his aspiration to help local schoolchildren enjoy a matchday experience at the Kuflink Stadium.

We would also like to thank supporter and match sponsor for the game Lee Nolan who has donated a further £500 to the initiative.

These fantastic donations have enabled our Schools Programme to invite both children and an accompanying adult to enjoy the Kuflink Stadium matchday experience for free and further expand the club’s commitment to offer opportunities for involvement to our local community. The club would also be delighted to see other families join in with the schools day and come along to experience a matchday at the Fleet.

Pupils will receive their tickets via their school and on arrival will also be given goody bags containing Fleet merchandise.

One school to benefit is Northfleet’s Lawn Primary and assistant head teacher Mrs Helen Moss said, “The children are so excited to receive their free tickets. We really appreciate this very generous offer and a wonderful opportunity for our children, some of whom have never been to a football match before.”

The ongoing EUFC Schools initiative has already heightened the profile of the club amongst teachers, pupils and parents at education establishments throughout the borough and the forthcoming Solihull match will be another rewarding step in the direction of harnessing and encouraging that new support.
