Following a flu virus in the Fleet’s goalkeeper camp, with Mark Cousins and Dylan Berry both absent from training this week, we welcome Magnus Norman on loan from Oldham Athletic.
The 27-year-old keeper, who will stay with the Fleet for the remainder of the season, spent his early years in Fulham’s academy and gained senior non-league experience with Farnborough, Hayes & Yeading United and Southport. He made his EFL debut in 2018 on loan with Rochdale in League One before making a permanent move to Carlisle United for the 2020/21 season.
Former England U18 international Norman spent two seasons in Cumbria, featuring 16 times for Carlisle before departing in 2022 to sign for Oldham Athletic.
The 6ft 4in keeper, who is a very commanding presence between the posts, has since made 45 appearances for the Latics.
We welcome Magnus to the club and you can sponsor him by contacting [email protected] or calling us on 01474 533796.
