Fleet youth academy midfielder Leo Mazzone, who graduated to the first-team squad in the summer, has celebrated scoring his first goal in senior football.
The 17-year-old, currently on loan at Redhill, scored in a Ryman Divison One South game at Horsham, netting the final goal in a 4-0 rout for the Lobsters.
Having come on as a substitute, it took Mazzone only four minutes to latch on to a ball from Tyrone Pink and fire home. The young Fleet star also appeared in Redhill’s 5-1 demolition of Corinthian Casuals. He has previously played on loan for Sittingbourne this season, having appeared in 2014’s Kent Senior Cup Final for the Fleet at Priestfield.
