Kent FA raise awareness

On World Suicide Prevention Day, Ebbsfleet United are pleased to back the Kent FA’s campaign in 2021. Our county association has partnered with CALM UK to pledge support and campaign for a happier future, to support the players, parents and coaches around us whilst always having mental health and wellbeing at the heart of their work. CALM are incredibly supportive of Kent FA and all involved in adult football in Kent.

In the youth game they work with Kooth and the Tommy Cush foundation to deliver a national first for a County FA – to provide qualified mental health champions on the ground and accessible help and signposting for all youth players.

Their commitment to raising awareness this season will go further than ever before. For the first time, the Kent FA will dedicate the first round of all adult county cups to help spread the message and break the stigma around mental health, with clubs helping to start the conversation.
