The club can confirm today that midfielder Jordan Parkes is to depart Ebbsfleet United.
The 27-year-old arrived in summer 2015 from Hemel Hempstead Town and was off the mark quickly in 2015/16, scoring eight goals by mid-September.
He went on to feature in 42 games for the club last season and scored 12 goals in total. Having been retained in the summer, he played in our opening game v Poole Town this season but has since found first-team opportunities limited.
Vice chairman Peter Varney said, “We have terminated Jordan Parkes’s contract by mutual agreement and he has subsequently agreed a contract with Hemel Hempstead Town to return to his former club. I would like to thank Jordan for his efforts whilst with the club and wish him well in his future career.”
