The Fleet have added midfielder Jez Davies to the squad this afternoon on an initial 28-day loan from League Two side Salford City.
The 20-year-old Londoner has progressed through the U21 and U23 youth ranks at Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley, playing in the Premier League 2 for both clubs and he signed a contract extension at Burnley in summer 2023.
The versatile central midfielder moved on to Salford in January 2024 and made his EFL debut in a 3-1 win over Morecambe last season. Following a loan period with Marine in the National League North earlier this season, Davies most recently caught the eye with two goals and an assist in Salford’s EFL Trophy win over Wolves earlier this week.
He is in contention for a place in today’s squad where he will wear the number 38.
