Ebbsfleet United will kick-start their 2014-15 campaign three days late – at home to Concord Rangers – after today’s expulsion of Salisbury City from the Conference.
Fleet had been paired with the Whites in the opening fixture of the new season but on the same day the Conference expelled Salisbury – subject to appeal – and that means Steve Brown’s side will be kicking their heels while the season kicks off.
Thus the first home game of the season will be the following Tuesday, August 12, against Concord Rangers. Chelmsford City host Fleet on Boxing Day with the reverse fixture on New Year’s Day. Wealdstone are our Bank Holiday partners, with them coming to Stonebridge Road on Monday, August 25 and us returning the visit on Easter Monday, April 6.
Other games of note include Bromley (home 24 January, away 7 March), Sutton (home 20 September, away 17 January) and our first visit to Hemel Hempstead on 18 October. The season concludes with a home game against Bishop’s Stortford on 25 April.
