The Fleet will face Ashford Town (Middlesex) for the first time ever in the Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round. The tie takes place on Saturday, 13th September with kick-off at 3pm.
The Combined Counties League Premier Division North have beaten Eastbourne Town, Snodland Town and AFC Whyteleafe in the previous rounds and are currently 14th in their division, having finished last season relegated from the Isthmian Division One South Central. They are unbeaten this season, however, having won five and drawn three of their league and cup games to date.
The Tangerines’ best FA Cup performance is the fourth qualifying round in 2004–05 and 2008–09. Last season they were beaten by Herne Bay in the First Qualifying Round.
Replays are still held in the qualifying rounds so should the first game end in a draw, the replay will be at the Robert Parker Stadium in Stanwell (below).
