Home friendlies confirmed for summer

Ebbsfleet United’s summer preparations will get in swing with the annual pre-season camp in Portugal and then a programme of pre-season friendlies.

The club can confirm four home games against a mixture of non-league and EFL opposition, with Billericay Town, Eastbourne Borough, Gillingham and Cambridge United due to visit the Kuflink Stadium in July.

First up are Bostik League champions and Vanarama National League South newcomers Billericay who could field former Fleet players Sam Deering and Adam Cunnington. They come to town on Saturday, July 7th (note date change from 14th) with a 3pm kick-off.

Eastbourne Borough will be next up the following Tuesday (17th July), with a 7.45pm kick-off.

League One county neighbours Gillingham, managed by former Fleet player manager Steve Lovell, will provide our highest level of opposition and they visit the Kuflink Stadium on Saturday 21st July, kick-off 3pm, with Danny Kedwell, Jack Payne and Myles Weston likely to line up against their old club.

And the final confirmed game so far will see Joe Dunne bring his Cambridge United side to Ebbsfleet for the second successive season, with the U’s winning here 2-0 last summer. That match will take place on Tuesday, 24th July, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
