Forever Fleet: welcoming back our former Fleet faces

The Fleet are throwing open the doors once more this season to welcome back any ex-players for our final home game of the season against Hungerford Town.

Last season (pictured above) we arranged our first ex-players’ return and were delighted to see old faces including Colin Dalton, Jeff Eyers, Cesc Fakinos, Lee Gledhill, Keith Hepple, Jimmy Jackson, Paul Lorraine, Ricky Shakes, Calum Willock and Craig Wilkins. And only last weekend, our FA Trophy-winning goalkeeper Lance Cronin enjoyed a walk around the pitch (below) as he was introduced to fans as we clinched the league title.

We always welcome back ex-players and managers through the season but now designate our final home game – which is sure to be a party atmosphere given our fabulous league-winning 2022/23 campaign – as a formal ‘Forever Fleet’ invitation to all our old boys.

As such, we invite any former first-team Fleet player or manager to attend the 29th April match with a guest for free. Simply email [email protected] to confirm your attendance and request your complimentary ticket(s).

The club continues to renew links with former players/managers so they and supporters are encouraged to share this with anybody they know who might have links with the club. We will email players whose details we have separately but ex-players are welcome to get in contact with Ed Miller at the email address above to add their contacts to our database.
