Volunteer for our next working weekenders this Saturday/Sunday

Fleet’s working parties are about to embark on their second weekender, having gotten into gear over our first volunteer weekend seven days ago, sprucing up the stadium perimeter in preparation for our supporters’ return in July and August.

Having answered the call for volunteers, our intrepid band donned overalls and with paintbrushes in hand gave the areas around the turnstiles and stadium entrance shiny new coats of red and white. The club is ever mindful of the time and hard work put in by everyone over this weekend and we’d like to say a huge thank-you to all of you involved.

All of our volunteers this season have worked wonders, whether it be during matchdays in 2020/21, or around the stadium with maintenance, odd jobs and bigger projects. Two of our group were also recognised for their valuable work, with both John Snow and Percy Scudder winning Vanarama National League South volunteer of the month awards.

We still have two further weekends this month (June 12th/13th and/or June 26th/27th) to tackle other essential work around the Kuflink Stadium.

Please email [email protected] to offer your services on any or all of the four days planned and if you can help out with any equipment including gardening or power tools, just let her know as well.

All volunteers can enjoy lunch and refreshment put on by the club during the course of the day.
