Exciting coach and sports therapy roles at Fleet Women

Fleet Women’s team have exciting opportunities for a first-team coach and sports therapist.

The first-team coach is an important role key to the growth of our women’s team.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work with the women’s team manager on the identification and recruitment of players into the women’s team, aligned to the club recruitment strategy.

• Take part in all training and match day fixtures, aligned with the team’s goals and objectives.

• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with medical and performance staff to manage the player development.

• Implement high-performance coaching standards, game principles, game strategies and review processes.

• Place a dedicated focus on player development, seeking both individual and team development through individual player development plans and use of analysis software.


The sports therapist will take the lead in strengthening sessions, injury assessment and rehab programming as well as at training and match days.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide injury reports and updates to the Women’s Team management

• Deliver assessments and diagnostics to ensure relevant treatment plans for individual players

• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with management and performance staff to manage injury assessment and rehab.

• Ideally, you will have experience of working in women’s football/elite sport. It is essential that you can work flexibly, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as matchdays and training require
