Ebbsfleet United have set a second trial date for potential players in our Academy programme for the 2017/18 season – and this time they get the chance to impress at the club’s ground.
The trial at Stonebridge Road (grass surface) is on Monday, 24th April, with a 6.30pm start. Any 16-18-year-old potential players will need to register interest via info@eufc.co.uk – or email that address for further information. Please send your name, position and date of birth in your email as well.
The Fleet’s Academy side plays in Division “B” of the National League U19 Alliance and the FA Youth Cup, which last season included a run that took the side to a tie at Priestfield Stadium v Football League opposition. Success stories include Shilow Tracey, one of our Academy stars who was scouted by Tottenham Hotspur, taken on their Development Squad’s US tour and subsequently signed for them in last season’s transfer window.
Since last summer, Karn Miller-Neave, Ollie Boulding, Hugo Atkinson and Billy Holmes all signed first-team forms and some of them accompanied the first-team squad on the pre-season tour to Portugal and train alongside those players on a weekly basis. They have also played in Kent Senior Cup, FA Cup and FA Trophy games while also gaining valuable first-team experience on loan at Ryman League level.
