The Fleet will take on Sporting Clube Farense of the Portuguese Second Division in a friendly fixture to conclude the club’s training week in the country.
The match will take place at the Colina Verde sports-resort complex in Moncarapacho, eastern Algarve, with the kick-off at 10am on Friday, 10th July.
The squad departs for a week’s pre-season training camp in Portugal on 3rd July and Farense – once briefly managed by Malcolm Allison – are the most local professional club to the area where the Fleet are staying.
They finished 11th in their division last season and their squad includes a former Whitehawk loanee, Edinho Junior, and one-time Portuguese international Neca.
