Fleet name Paul Reid as new Women’s manager

Ebbsfleet United have appointed a new head coach of our Women’s first-team going into the 2025/26 season. The new man in charge is Paul Reid and he will work alongside David Saunders as his assistant manager.

Reid joins the first-team setup following three successful seasons with the Fleet’s youth academy where he won one League title, two League Cups and a County Cup. His experience of coaching and managing in both men’s and women’s football stretches back across a 30-year career in the game from grassroots to semi-professional level.

The new boss has expressed his excitement for the challenge ahead and said he aims to build on the potential and growth of the past few seasons to challenge for promotion to the fourth tier of the football pyramid.

Paul will be joined by David Saunders (pictured above). David already has experience of working with the women’s team, having taken over towards the end of last season as interim manager and did a fantastic job in the latter stages of the season building a great rapport with the squad and a strong club ethos.
