Fleet matched with Moors

The Fleet’s reward for seeing off Faversham Town on Saturday is another home tie, this time against National League side Solihull Moors in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup.

Fleet’s ball came out against the Midlands outfit for a first-ever cup meeting between the clubs. Solihull began the season bottom of the division above, without a win in seven games, but since replacing Matt Taylor with caretaker manager James Quinn, they have risen to 16th.

The Moors have won their last three visits to the Kuflink Stadium in the league but the Fleet will relish testing themselves against National League opposition, once again on home soil.

This is the first time since the 2013/14 season that the Fleet have been drawn at home in each of the three qualifying rounds in which we played.

Winners of this tie pocket £9,375 in prize money, while the losers take £3,125. This is in addition to the £9,000 total already won in the two previous qualifying rounds.

The tie takes place on the weekend of Saturday, October 11th. This means that our league visit to Weston-super-Mare will be rescheduled for a new date to be confirmed.

Tickets for the match are on sale now from here.
