Fleet host Hastings

The Fleet have been drawn at home to old Southern League foes Hastings United in the Second Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup.

Fleet have played Hastings more than 70 times down the years, the last time in 2000 in an FA Trophy tie, but despite all those head-to-heads this will be the first time we ever play them in the FA Cup.

The Sussex-based Isthmian South-East club (Step Four), whose squad includes former Fleet favourite Craig Stone, beat Chesham United in the previous round of the competition.

The result will be decided on the day as there are no replays in this season’s competition.

There will be 160 ties in this round, with clubs split into five regions. Winning clubs at this stage of the competition pick up £3,375 from the prize fund with losing clubs also collecting £1,125.
