Ebbsfleet United will play League Two strugglers Cheltenham Town in Round One of the Emirates FA Cup.
The Robins, third from bottom in the league, will travel to the Kuflink Stadium on Saturday, 10th November, subject to any TV coverage.
Fleet and Cheltenham are no strangers to each other, having a long Southern League history that begin within our first two months of existence in September 1946. We have met 56 times in all, the last time in 1996, but never before in the FA Cup. The two clubs have played three FA Trophy ties and in 1958 the Robins denied the Fleet a Southern League and cup double, beating us over two legs in the Southern League Cup final.
Cheltenham have won only two league games this season, but they have both come on their travels – at Cambridge and Northampton.
