A DILIGENT BAND OF SUPPORTERS TURN OUT FOR GROUND MAINTENANCE…
Over the weekend of 13
and 14 June, Fleet fans were out in force at the
club’s Stonebridge Road ground carrying out important
ground maintenance.
Among the jobs completed
were the clearing of shrubbery from behind the Stonebridge Road terrace
and the Swanscombe End, scraping walls in preparation for the arduous task of then painting them all!
The club is as ever eternally grateful
for the efforts of all those that attended, some coming from as far
as York.
John Moules, interim CEO, said “Maurice, our maintenance man, insisted that I toured the whole ground to see
the excellent work the working party had carried out over the weekend. It?s a credit to the volunteers that this first weekend of work has seen the
ground already start to take on a bright new look for the coming season.”
