Fleet game is TV’s final-day destination

Ebbsfleet United’s final-day clash at Boreham Wood has been chosen as the TNT Sports live game, with the kick-off at 12:15pm.

With Boreham Wood needing to win and the Fleet requiring a point for safety, it’s the National League’s most dramatic match of the day – and a huge game for our club. With such fabulous home and away support for the team throughout the 2023/24 season, we know Fleet fans will be out in force for this one but we are reminding fans that coach travel to the game has been subsidised and costs only £10 for adults and £5 for children as we aim to take as many of our red army to Meadow Park as possible.

The National League press release for the televised game said, “The last TNT Sports live pick of the season has been confirmed – and it’s a big one for a nail-biting National League finale. It’s all about survival on Saturday for Boreham Wood and Ebbsfleet United and it could be a case of winner-stays-up.

“One of these two will clinch safety in the shoot-out and both could be celebrating if Wood win and Woking suffer defeat at home to AFC Fylde. York City and Wealdstone could also tumble too so it won’t be an afternoon for the faint-hearted in what is sure to be a dramatic climax to the campaign.

“Matt Smith and the team will bring you the live action from Hertfordshire as well as the goals that go in from around the grounds, with the possibility of a play-off place still to be decided as well.

“Kick-off in the live game remains at 12.15pm with all of Saturday’s matches of course running simultaneously as we buckle up for a bumpy ride.”
