Fleet face away day in FA Cup

Fleet fans will hardly be surprised that they’re on their travels for the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round – the draw paired us with Woking, the game to be played at Kingfield on Saturday, October 20.

The two sides have already fought out a 2-2 draw this season in the league – which was also the result at the same stage of the FA Cup at Woking four years ago when a Luke Moore double rescued the tie for the Fleet and a Kezie Ibe goal in the replay saw us through to play Crewe Alexandra.

In that first game Liam Enver-Marum scored for the Cards and Paul Lorraine played in their defence, while Mark Ricketts was on the Fleet side, so there will certainly be a familiar feeling to our next meeting!
