Fleet capacity now officially back above 4,000

With work completed on the Swanscombe End and the granting of the safety certificate this week, the Kuflink Stadium’s official capacity now stands at 4,769. That brings the ground into line with National League requirements, the looming deadline for which necessitated the work to the away-end terrace.

The club can confirm the following breakdown of that 4,769 capacity, with 2,590 of that standing and 2,179 of which is seating (see breakdown below). The Swanscombe End will reopen for the visit of Woking but the game is segregated following the advice of police.

General manager Dave Archer told FleetOnline, “We were always confident of meeting this works deadline but to have it signed, sealed and delivered with official confirmation of our new capacity and seating numbers before the end of February is a big step for the club at our current level and gives us confidence to push forward with the rest of our long-term plans.”

In other work this week, the club’s business partner GI Print/GreenInc has supplied and fitted a new 12ft club badge to the interior wall of the stadium (pictured) to match the impressively large one that greets visitors above our main reception.
