Fleet boss’s best wishes to Billericay…

Amidst the jubilation as far as the visitors were concerned of the late win at New Lodge, Fleet boss Dennis Kutrieb paid tribute to relegated Billericay, who returned to the Isthmian Premier as a result of Craig Tanner’s 89th minute goal.

“It’s such small margins between being happy and sad,” Kutrieb told Charles Webster. “I feel sorry for Billericay because they didn’t deserve to get relegated. They fought hard and maybe they’ve done it too late but I’m emotional because it’s always close in football to feel happy or sad. I can feel how it hurts today for the opponent and that gives me the desire to win games and hopefully the boys can take the same away – but I wish Billericay all the best to getting back as quickly as possible.”
