Firth keeps it local with loan

Fleet goalkeeper Harrison Firth has joined neighbours Punjab United on a short-term month’s loan.

The former Academy keeper signed a first-team deal earlier this month and now heads out to the Gravesend-based SCEFL Premier Division side in what will be an excellent opportunity to gain senior experience.

Punjab take on Rusthall this Saturday at the Steve Cook Stadium and then travel to Lordswood on Monday, with Firth going straight into their first-team squad.

The Fleet’s No.13 will continue to train with Dennis Kutrieb’s first-team squad during the week as normal and we wish him all the very best in his matchday performances with Punjab.
