First-teamers on show in U21 game

Ebbsfleet United will take on Woking at Stonebridge Road on Monday night, kick-off 7pm, with some first-team faces in the U21/Development Squad. Admission is free. The bar will be open and refreshments available from 6pm.

Daryl McMahon told FleetOnline that he expects to give run-outs to goalkeeper Jonathan Miles, along with Craig Braham-Barrett, Anthony Acheampong, Danny Haynes, Sean Shields and two players who were back in training last week – Charlie Sheringham and Michael West.

The informal ‘U21’ league is a chance for clubs to give their development squads competitive fixtures, as well as pre-agreed quotas of over-age/first-team squad players.

Wednesday also sees an FA Youth Cup tie at Stonebridge Road. For more details, see this story.
