The Fleet’s latest acquisition for 2025/26 is much sought-after centre-back Jamie Fielding from Tonbridge Angels.
The 25-year-old was the target of interest for many a club last summer but opted to stay with Tonbridge where he went on to win three player of the year awards in 2024/25. This made him an even hotter property this close season and it is the Kuflink Stadium where he will now play his football this coming campaign.

Fielding has spent the last four years at Longmead, making almost 150 appearances, and last season he struck up a superb relationship with fellow new Fleet signing Ronny Nelson. Prior to his time in Kent, the Hastings-born player spent two years from 2017–19 with his hometown club, following that up with a spell in League Two at Stevenage.
He also featured on loan for St Albans City and Braintree Town before landing at Tonbridge in 2021. At the end of 2024/25, the Fleet’s new signing picked up the Angels’ supporters’, manager’s and players’ player of the year awards in a clean sweep of the honours at Longmead.

“I’m really excited to progress and push on,” Fielding told FleetTV. “It was an amazing season for me last year and it allowed me to come into my own as a leader. It’s going to be the most competitive season I’ve been involved in.”
