Fair dues for defensive duties

Fleet boss Dennis Kutrieb praised his defence following the win over Dulwich Hamlet as they held firm through the 90 minutes bar a deflected free-kick and their diligence kept the visiting forwards chasing throughout the game.

“I felt good today from the beginning,” he told BBC Radio Kent’s Matt Cole. “Apart from their goal, there was no chance for them to score again. They are always dangerous but the good thing for us was we made them tired in the first half and [Jordan] Green and [Darren] McQueen had to work so hard defensively, that they missed a little bit in the offence to be a really big threat, so well done to our back three today.”
