The Fleet will meet Aldershot Town in the semi-finals of the FA Trophy…

The draw for the semi-finals of the FA Trophy has been made and pits the Fleet against league leaders Aldershot Town. The first leg of the semi-finals will take place at Stonebridge Road on March 8, with a visit to the Recreation Ground a week later for the return leg.

The Fleet have met Aldershot on 17 occasions over the past 10 years, with the Shots victorious in 10 of those and the Fleet triumphing in four. The last of those wins was back in our Ryman League championship season of 2001-02. The two sides have never contested a cup tie.

This will be the Fleet’s first run as far as the semi-finals.
