Weymouth win FA Trophy replay to set up date at Stonebridge Road…
Ebbsfleet United will now meet Weymouth in Round 3 of the FA Trophy after the Terras triumphed on penalties over Kidderminster Harriers in the two sides’ Second Round replay at Aggborough. The sides finished level at two apiece, with Weymouth sneaking through 3-0 from the spot.
It will be the second of three meetings between the two sides inside a month, the Fleet having won 4-1 at Stonebridge Road on January 5 and they also face a trip to Weymouth on February 5 for the next round of the Setanta Shield. That comes just three days after this February 2 meeting in the Trophy and Weymouth will be the second successive Dorset side the Fleet have faced in this season’s competition, having already dispatched Dorchester Town.
In addition to Kidderminster, the Terras have also beaten Wealdstone to set up this meeting with the Fleet at Stonebridge Road.
