Ebbsfleet United have been given an away tie at Dorchester Town in the second round of the FA Trophy…
The Fleet have been drawn away to Dorchester Town in the Second Round of the FA Trophy. The Dorset side are second-bottom in the Blue Square South but defeated holders Stevenage Borough in the First Round with a last-minute penalty proving decisive in a 2-1 victory. They have also beaten Worthing in this season’s competition.
The game will be played on Saturday 12 January 2008, kick-off at 3.00pm. For ground directions, see here.
The Magpies’ attractive Avenue Stadium was opened in 1990 and the Fleet played there only five years ago in our first Conference game since promotion against Yeovil who were sharing with Dorchester at the time. Older fans may remember a classic 5-4 victory for the Fleet over Dorchester at the same venue back in the mid-Nineties.
Please note that the entrance to the bar for supporters before the match is through the main entrance at the front of the stadium. It is not possible to gain access to the bar before the match once supporters have paid to enter the stadium. Segregation will not be in place for this match.
