FLEET FANS LINE THE STREETS AS SQUAD SHOW OFF THEIR WEMBLEY PRIZE….

The victorious Ebbsfleet United squad paraded their prize through the streets of Gravesend and Northfleet tonight as hundreds of Fleet fans thronged the streets, applauding and cheering their heroes along the route.

An open-top bus, laid on by Gravesham Council, left Stonebridge Road at 6.30pm with the playing squad and officials packed like sardines on the top deck, armed with digital and video cameras. Below them, as the bus progressed, Fleet fans were similarly laden down with recording equipment, while many hundreds heeded the call to turn out in club colours and Wembley shirts probably still unwashed since Saturday!
