We have been contacted today regarding reports that the club is subject to a winding-up petition due to outstanding HMRC debts.

While the club has not received any notice of this and has not been served a notice, we have been in dialogue with HMRC around outstanding amounts of VAT and PAYE debt in recent weeks.

Directors advise that these will be cleared next week. The pending change of ownership remains imminent and the directors are supportive and extremely appreciative of the efforts of all club staff and the playing group daily throughout this period, and that of Fleet supporters constantly and always.
