Darren McQueen and Jack Powell have been selected as part of a 22-man squad for the latest England C training camp by national manager Paul Fairclough.
The Fleet players will link up with their England C teammates at the Lilleshall National Sports Centre from 8th–10th October with a view to bonding the squad ahead of forthcoming games. The squad will be trimmed to 16 in time for November’s International Challenge Trophy final in Slovakia.
Both players made their debuts against the Panjab FA in the summer, with McQueen scoring twice, and then also played against a Jersey FA XI.
Meanwhile, Sam Magri will be off on international duty again soon to link up with Malta for their games against Lithuania and Slovakia which take place in line with Fleet’s trips to Solihull Borough and Macclesfield Town.
The club would like to wish all our internationally recognised players the best of luck in their endeavours.
