There will be a special visitor at the club’s home match on Tuesday evening against Chelmsford City.
Owner Dr Abdulla Al Humaidi is flying in from Kuwait to see his first ever Ebbsfleet United match. Vice chairman Peter Varney said, “I know how excited Dr Abdulla is about seeing his first ever match at Stonebridge Road and he is also keen to see the improvements to the stadium that were fully completed just a few weeks ago.
“He has already invested some £800,000 in the club and none of that is in the form of loans. It is all equity and this means the club is entirely debt free.
“It is true to say that without him the club would no longer exist and I hope he gets the welcome he deserves when he is introduced to the crowd shortly before kick off.”
