Liam Daish has signed 23-year-old former Forest Green Rovers striker Liam Marum a year after trying to bring him to Stonebridge Road, Daish was hoping to capture the former Eastbourne Borough forward when he left Crawley Town last summer but he headed for the New Lawn.
?I have been interested in Liam for some time? said the Fleet boss. ?He?s big and strong and is well experienced in this league even though he is only 23?, Enver-Marum has also appeared for Hayes & Yeading and Woking and joins a Fleet squad preparing for life back in the Blue Square Bet Premier League after winning promotion in May.
Ebbsfleet have been further boosted with the signing of 28-year-old Irish defender Ian Simpemba (pictured), the Havant & Waterlooville skipper. Starting his career at Wycombe Wanderers, Simpemba also appeared for Woking and Crawley before spells with Aldershot and Lewes lead to his arrival at the Hawks.
?Ian is 6? 2? and what I would describe as a ?no nonsense? defender? said Daish. ?We needed to bring in experience for the new campaign and he will fit in well with the players around him.?
