In September, the first four Fleet squad players recorded their Crossbar Challenge at the club’s training ground and shortly before Christmas, another four likely contenders tried their luck in front of the new stand at Stonebridge Road.

So, without further ado, can any of Dave Winfield, Mark Phillips, Stuart Lewis and Sean Shields better the achievements of Charlie Sheringham, who seemed to have the best of the first challenge…?

The winning squad member at the end of the season is in line for a prize of as-yet undetermined quality!
