Community Day to play host to bumper crowd

Fleet are expecting a large crowd at home to Hemel Hempstead Town on Saturday February 28  for the club’s Community Day. More than 1,000 tickets have been snapped up by a significant number of local organisations in our bid to foster greater links with the local community and also provide a platform for those organisations to showcase their projects to a wider audience.

For some attendees, this will be their first experience of a football match and certainly of a non-league game and we hope Fleet fans will be as warm and welcoming as usual to our new visitors. As we put the finishing touches to the Community Day, you can learn a bit more about our Community Partners below, who will be helping us out on the day, with more news to follow about the entertainment we have planned to make this Community Day a real all-round community experience.

Our local partners have agreed to appear in the ‘Our Community’ marquee and we may have further local projects joining us before the day, but this gives Fleet fans a flavour of the range of activities going on in our neighbourhood that need your help. Please take the time to visit the ‘Our Community’ marquee on the day and find out more about these projects.
