Fleet defender Kenny Clark is to become part of club director Stuart Butler-Gallie’s Community team as the club looks to expand its reach into the locality in tandem with the reconstruction of the stadium at Stonebridge Road.
Stuart told FleetOnline, “Since taking over the club in 2013, we have tried to forge better and more active links with the local community and hopefully we can show that we have had a measure of success in this. During last season I realised that we needed to take the next step in our Community engagement plan and that meant some additional resource to represent the Fleet when my diary did not allow this. I am delighted to be able to announce that EUFC’s very own Mr Concrete, Kenny Clark, has accepted a role assisting me in promoting the Fleet in the Community.”
Kenny told FleetOnline, “I am delighted to be able to work alongside Stuart helping the club reach out to the Community in as many ways as possible and making sure you are fully aware of the important projects that the club is supporting. I believe it is important as players that we understand these aspects of our club. Football players at all levels are in a privileged position and we have the power to positively influence a wide range of people.”
