Boss signs on in two-year deal

Liam Daish signs two-year contract at the Fleet…

Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal at Stonebridge Road following a 95.38% majority (1,856 votes) of voting MyFC members approving his new contract offer. It means the Fleet boss, in his fifth season at the helm, is now tied to the club for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons.

The contract, recommended to members by chairman Duncan Holt, also includes a compensation structure payable to Ebbsfleet United should Liam wish to leave the club – that is directly related to the length of time remaining on the contract. Written into the contract is a clause which agrees that the club will look more favourably on Liam departing to a Football League club.
