Midfielder James Ball has this afternoon signed for Solihull Moors for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old summer acquisition from Stevenage signed terms at the SportNation.bet Stadium on Friday afternoon.

James featured in every Vanarama National League match for the Fleet this season, playing 14 games in total for the club.

Garry Hill’s move for Josh Payne on loan from Crawley Town, meanwhile, means he won’t be short of numbers in the middle for this weekend’s match at Harrogate Town.
